Therapy for the seasons of life that change us

At Springtree Counseling & Consulting, I provide thoughtful, individualized psychotherapy for adults and couples navigating grief, loss, life transitions, emotional challenges, and questions about what comes next.

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Our work will be shaped around your goals, your experiences, and what you need from therapy.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be deeply meaningful—and sometimes deeply difficult. Couples therapy provides a space to slow down patterns of conflict, improve communication, better understand one another, and decide what you want your relationship to become.

  • Communication difficulties
  • Recurring conflict
  • Emotional disconnection
  • Major life transitions
  • Trust and relationship challenges
  • Differences in needs, expectations, or values
  • The impact of stress, grief, or loss on a relationship
  • Questions about the future of the relationship

Couples therapy isn't about determining who is right or wrong. The goal is to better understand the patterns between you and create opportunities for a healthier, more connected relationship.

Individual Therapy for Adults

Individual therapy provides a confidential space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and explore meaningful change.

  • Grief and loss
  • Suicide loss
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Trauma and difficult life experiences
  • Relationship challenges
  • Major life transitions
  • Stress and emotional overwhelm
  • Identity and self-understanding
  • Meaning, purpose, and personal growth
  • Difficult emotions and patterns that feel hard to change

Whether you're navigating a recent crisis or carrying something you've been trying to understand for years, therapy can provide a place to approach it with curiosity and compassion.

Grief & Suicide Loss

Loss can change the way you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. I provide specialized support for adults and couples navigating grief and suicide loss, including the complicated emotions and unanswered questions that can follow a death by suicide. There is no single way to grieve, and there is no timetable for healing. Therapy can offer a place to acknowledge what has happened while finding ways to live meaningfully alongside the loss.

Life Transitions

Changes in relationships, family, career, identity, health, location, or other circumstances can leave us questioning who we are and what comes next. Therapy can help you pause, reflect, and determine what you want the next chapter to look like.

An individualized approach

My clinical approach draws from evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and other evidence-informed approaches. I don't believe, however, that therapy should be about fitting you into a particular treatment model.

Instead, we'll work together to understand what you're experiencing and identify approaches that fit your needs and goals. You don't have to know exactly what you need before you begin.

Ready to begin?

If you're wondering whether therapy might be helpful, we can start with a conversation.
