Insurance & Payment

At Springtree Counseling, I offer a range of payment options designed to make beginning therapy as simple as possible.

Insurance

I am in-network with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest and Regence BlueCross BlueShield. For other insurance plans, I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Private Pay

You may also choose to private pay, regardless of insurance coverage.

Payment Methods

For your convenience, we accept all major credit and debit cards. We also welcome Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards, allowing you to use pre-tax dollars for your mental health care.

Cancellations & Billing Policies

Late Cancel & Missed Appointment Fee

Springtree Counseling & Consulting, LLC, has a firm 24 business hour cancellation policy. If an appointment is cancelled with less than one business days’ notice, you will be charged the cost of the full session. This fee will be charged to your credit card on file within 12 hours of the late-cancelled session.

No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.

Insurance benefits vary by plan. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm your mental health and out-of-network benefits before beginning care.
